They work great. the stock shocks blew apart need super lift 3in lift shocks. a pully puller worked for me to get the old ones out and these in. Watch how far you go the top a arm will bottom out on frame leave a fingers gap

Q: I have a 2004 Chevy Avalanche z71 that i am about to put new tires on. i am going to put 285/70/17 and i need to know if this is all i need to level(no rack and both front and back set at same height) my truck and to apply the tires. Does it reuse stock hardware such as bolts or is there something else i need to buy? Answer this question
A: Big Country- Thank you for your question. The Tuff Country 2 inch Leveling Kit will fit the 285/70 17 tires. The keys come with all necessary hardware. You might want to consider replacing your front shocks at the time of the install with longer ones. The Pro comp MX6 adjustables found here http://jo.my/tkahia would be a great choice.

Q: I have a 1993 chevrolet silverado k1500 4x4. It has 265/75 R16 tires on it. I recently bought a steering stabilizer shock for eliminating the bump steering problem and now I want to level the front of my truck with the torsion keys. MY question is this: Do I need the brackets and the keys or can I just use the torsion keys by themselves? Also, after installing the keys does the 2 inches of lift effect the travel of the shocks? If so which Bilstein shock should I use for the front? I need new ones anyway? Thanks. Answer this question
A: Hello Woodster, Thank you for the question. The Tuff Country 2 inch Leveling Kit T/C12903 will lift your vehicle 2". So you can use just the keys. Yes, you will need a longer shock. Here is the part number for our Bilstein 5100 Series shock package S/DShockingBIL5100. That package will get you two front and two rear shocks with boots.
